Mission Statement and Educational Philosophy:
Our mission is to fulfill the need for a quality, educationally supportive childcare program within the Lewis County area. We provide parents and children the support they need to help children grow into successful, capable members of society. We believe that children learn best through hands on learning experiences. We provide an environment rich in activities that help develop language, literacy, math, social, large and small motor skills. We have a family oriented environment where our teachers can model values and high moral standards. We teach core values of integrity, honesty, respect, love, self-esteem, and kindness etc. through targeted learning activities and recognizing the children’s strengths and positive choices. Teachers model and encourage children to be self-reliant with strong life management skills and to become capable problem solvers. Teachers encourage and implement peer to peer problem solving by having them ask each other “What do we need, how can we get that, and are we friends again?”
Our regular schedule teaches consistency, routine, security and structure. We encourage curiosity, exploration, self-confidence, physical, social, emotional and language development. We utilize varied teaching and behavior management techniques including re-direction, asking opened ended questions, and giving choices. We use soft and loving voices, affection, and a positive demeanor. We will always do our best to help your children have a solid, meaningful foundation for their futures. We encourage them to explore their world, be interested in the things and people around them, and in turn be observant and thoughtful of those things.

Andrew |
Andrew is in charge of upkeep, maintenance and tech support at both of our locations. He is in and out of both buildings and will often be seen walking around the properties checking that everything is operational. All the children are intrigued by the projects he does and enjoy watching as he completes them. Many of the children actually call him teacher Andrew.
